Hence, we apply Pythagoras theorem as we usually do, after that we only take the magnitudes of the numbers not the signs.

First we take the length of Perpendicular only magnitude i.e. |+2 to -2| = 4 .

Then we take Base i.e. |-3 to 0| = 3

Now apply simply Pythagoras Theorem H2 = P2 + B2

H2 = (4)2 + (3)2

H2 = 16 + 9

H2 = 25

H = 5
