What was it like for african slaves to be transported to the Americas?

They had to travel all packed they had little personal space and they pooped and peed on the floor they got served little food and water and if they run away they get thrown overboard and some commit by falling of the boat

African slaves travelled in ships that were dirty and run down, they had to all lie down together inside the ship. There was hardly any space for them to move. The conditions were horrible and most of them contracted diseases and eventually died.
