Which document limited the British monarch's right to tax and guaranteed due process?

It was the English Bill of Rights. Parliament required Charles to sign this document to prevent the king from making any move without the consent of Parliament. Prior to this Charles did convene Parliament for a long time and this angered Parliament members. Later this would lead to Civil War where forces of the King fought Parliament and Parliament won. It can also be the Magna Carta but the Magna Carta was more on the interest of the barons.
