The median is the middle number of a data set (listed numbers). The first step is to list the numbers from least to greatest. Next step is to find the middle number and you have your answer for the median.

13, 15, 15, 15, 16, \fbox {17}, \fbox {17}, 19, 19, 20, 22, 23

We have TWO numbers as our middle number, so to fix this we have to add them up and then divide by 2.

17 + 17 = 34 \\ \\ 34 / 2 = 17

The median is B) 17.
