-3x+ 2y > 5y+ 9
⇒ -3x > 5y -2y+ 9
⇒ -3x > 3y+ 9
⇒ x < (3y+ 9)/(-3)
⇒ x < -y -3
The inequality equivalent to -3x+ 2y > 5y+ 9 is
x < -y -3

- 5y - 5y
-3x - 3y > 9
