2/3 (x+2) - 1/3(x-2)
= (2/3)x + 4/3 - (1/3)x + 2/3
= (1/3)x + 6/3
= (1/3)x + 2

2/3 (x+2) -1/3 (x-2)
= 2/3*x +2/3*2 -1/3x -1/3(-2) (distributive property)
= 2/3x + 4/3 -1/3x +2/3
= (2/3x -1/3x) + (4/3 + 2/3)
= 1/3x + 2

The final answer is 1/3x+2.

Hope this helps~
