How did ww1 affect the racial and ethnic makeup of American cities

Following WW1, there was a huge influx of a lot of different ethnicities and races in the various cities in the US. The reason for this was bcause Europe was desolated with war and the US was more or less intact. This enabled them to build an economy faster. This in turn also caused people to migrate there a lot.
