I can solve for x
use distributive property which is a(b+c)=ab+ac
2(x+3)=2x+6

3(x+3)=3x+9

2x+6+x-5=3x+9
add like terms
3x+1=3x+9
subtract 1 from both sides
3x=3x+8
subtract 3x from both sides
0=8
false
therefor there is no solution

EBay is this 2(x+3)+x-5=3(x+3)
