CFCs or chlorofluorocarbons are ozone depleting chemicals found in refrigerants, coolants and other industrial processes. Higher levels of ultraviolet radiation in the Earth's surface is the result of ozone layer degradation. It provides many health risks to humans, which includes skin cancer, impaired immune system and cataracts among others.
