Industrial growth in America carried on itself, the transformation of the economy, the maturation of the industrial economy, the rapid expansion of big business, the consolidation of agricultural resources and their development in large scale, the growth of national labor, trade unions and industrial conflicts. The nation's production capacity has gone into fewer hands. Due to the need for labor in such conditions of growth of industrialization, there is an unprecedented rise in immigration and urbanization. Immigrants arrived from Eastern and Southern Europe, Asia, Central America, the mosaic became a colorful, and the influence of the Anglo Saxon Protestants began to fall.
