The main and only goal of the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights is to restore the peace and equality among the people of this world. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted on December 10, 1948, by the united nation to ensure the safeguard of Human rights of every individual of this planet earth without any discrimination.

Since then many military conflicts broke out between countries this Universal Declaration helped a lot in protecting the Human rights during military and other state-sponsored oppression of its citizens this declaration further argued in favor of the Human rights of a prisoner of war.
