(6)/(1)

Change 1 3/4 to an improper fraction =
(7)/(4)


(7)/(4) x
(6)/(1) =
(42)/(4) = 10
(2)/(4) cups
Reduce the answer and get 10
(1)/(2) cups

According to my calculations the answer is 19.5 or 19.50 you can pick either one but your teacher will probably want the first.
