Biochemistry is the study of atoms, elements, molecules and their chemical reactions in relation to how they create, sustain, and end life. Biochemistry focuses on carbon based biomolecules such as carbohydrates, lipids, proteins and amino acids. Biochemistry will also study how inorganic molecules interact with biological systems either is a positive or negative manner.
