High blood pressure known as "the silent killer" because it generally has no symptoms so that most of the time you don't know anything is wrong hence the name is known as silent killer.High blood pressure increases the risk of heart disease and stroke. Hypertension can also damage the kidneys and increase the risk of blindness and dementia.
