In what ways did contributions from African Americans aid the struggle for abolition?

Well the contributions of the Africans didn't do anything they just make people view slavery in a new way , the Quakers were the first abolitionists that believed in equal rights for everyone and they wanted to completely end slavery to give freedom to the Africans That's when Abraham Lincoln comes in he said when he gets elected he was going to free the slaves which was the document of which slaves would be free in a colony not controlled by the union
