Land bridge means the sea levels were shallow for people to cross

Because it was cold, the people followed bison  to the Americas.  Since sea levels were low, there was land bridge between Asia and North America which probably allowed the people to settle here.  Today, the sea levels are higher and the land bridge has disappeared.
