Weight of peanuts in a full bag = ¾ pounds
Weight of the bag when it is 2/3 full
Then
1 full bag = ¾ pounds
2/3 full bag = [(3/4)*(2/3)
= ½ pounds
So the weight of the peanuts when the bag is two thirds full is ½ pounds.
