rounding it off to the nearest tenth means rounding it off to the first decimal place . so the answer is 6.8

Thousandths,

Ten thousandths,

......., so on,.....

If after decimal the digit in hundred place is equal to 5 or more than 5,

Then we only write successive digit of the tenth place digit in the tenths place after decimal,

Otherwise, we write the same tenths place digit after the decimal.

Thus, by the above explanation,

6.78 ≈ 6.8
