All of the following were French settlers to New France except for a)business people. There were many priests who came on Christian missions, such as Jesuit priests and many settlers came with their families to be fur trappers in the Quebec county, as there were many woods and furry wildlife and this helped the trade in Montreal (the main city) and the surrounding areas.
