How does Pericles describe Athenian democracy? Does his argument for democracy derive from fundamentle principles, such as human equality, or form the principle benefits that derive from such a system of government?

"Form the principle benefits that derive from such a system of government" would be the best option, since although Pericles was a major proponent of democracy, he was worried that it would be corrupted by a lack of educated people.
