$553-$265=($288 divided by $48=6 hours of labor

Repair Bill = B

Hours = H

------

B = 265 + 48H

But B = 553,

Therefore:

553 = 265 + 48H

48H = 553 - 265

48H = 288

H= 288/48

H= 6
