European navigation opened up a number of trade opportunities. New markets were opened for selling foreign goods that were not available before the exploration reached new countries. New trade routes opened up with various newly explored countries. Trade and commerce received a huge boost. Urbanization of many cities and towns got a great Philippe and this in turn improved the trade of the region. The middle class people had an increased buying power which resulted in increase in the amount of trade.
