Option “C” is the correct answer to the given question. James Madison was the Federalist and the fourth president of America, and so it is the correct answer. It can be clearly mentioned that Lincoln was not there when the Federalist Party was created. George Washington never associated himself with any of the parties present during his time. Thomas Jefferson was a Democratic-republican and so he could not be associated with the Federalist Party. This leaves only James Maddison to be the one that was associated with the federalist Party.
