That division comes out even.

The quotient is ( 3x³ - 4x² + 7x - 12 ) and there is no remainder.

Just\ subtitute\ x=-2\ to\ 3x^4+2x^3-x^2+2x-24:\\\\3(-2)^4+2(-2)^3-(-2)^2+2(-2)-24=3(16)+2(-8)-4-4-24\\\\=48-16-32=32-32=\boxed{0}\\\\Conclusion:there\ is\ no\ remainder
