Why are gasses elements on the periodic table?

All elements are on the periodic table.  There are gasses, solids, and liquids.  The table may call certain elements gasses but that is only because that is their natural form of matter while they are at room temperature.

Every element can exist in the solid, liquid, or gas state, depending on
its temperature and the pressure around it.
