According to Progressives, the group which should be held responsible for employee injuries that occur on the job are the bosses. This is because progressives held a wide belief that workers are often exploited (which has proven true over the years) and that unsafe working conditions are imposed on them while working. Progressivism actually flourished during the Industrial Revolution which further supports the above view.
