the pizza slice served at O'Connor's pizza place are 1/4 of a whole pizza. There are three pizzas ready to be served. 14 children come in for lunch. Is there enough pizza for every child? please explain your thinking, LOL PLZ HELP WITH MY MATH HOMWORK? THX 12 POINTS

4 pieces/1 pizza= x pieces/3 pizzas cross multiply x= 12 pieces not enough hope this helps

No there will not be enough. Think about it this way. If each slice is 1/4 of the pizza, then each pizza can only feed 4 people. If you have 3 of these pizzas, then you can feed 12 people at most. Since there are 14 kids, you won't have enough.
