Before the introduction of the yellow crazy ant to Christmas Island, land crabs ate many plant seedlings on the forest, and the forest floor stayed relatively clear of plants. As the crab population declined, plant seedlings flourished. The forest floor became covered with plants. Which statement best describes what occurred on the forest floor? (Points : 1)

Primary succession occurred because the ant was a new species that changed the ecosystem.

Secondary succession occurred because the organisms on the forest floor changed.

Climax vegetation occurred because the seedlings finally had a chance to grow.

Primary succession occurred because more plant life in the ecosystem was healthier.

I would say Climax Vegetation since the ants pretty much died off the plant had much time to grow
