SURFACE AREA OF A CUBE IS
a=6*a^2
a= 6*16=96mm^2

A cube has 6 sides, and each side has the area of 16 (since 4 times 4 is 16) so if you multiply 16 and 6 you get 96 mm2 as the surface area.
