jill is thinking of two numbers. they have a sum of 27 and a difference of 7. what are the two numbers?

they are 17 and 10, I have a special formula:
Two numbers , always have larger and smaller number
So, to find the larger number you will do
(Total+Difference)÷2 = (27+7)÷2= 17
To find the smaller number you will do
(Total-Difference)÷2= (27-7)÷2=10
