Nearly all of Earth's liquid water is in the seas and oceans. To make it drinkable, it would need to be desalinated.

The oceans hold the most water! About 96.5 percent of Earth's water. Other water is found as ice, vapour, rivers, lakes, and as soil moisture. desalination is required to make water drinkable.

Hope it helps :)
