you have to simplify 18/26 by 2 so 18 divided by 2 would be 9 and 26 divided by 2 would be 13 which makes it 9/13

When you simplify this, you have to divide both of these numbers with a same number. In this case, you can divide both of these by 2. By doing so, you get 9/13. You can't simplify this down any further, so that's your final answer.
