Conscientious objectors were often assigned, non-combat troops. The Non-Combatant Corps was a corps of the British Army made out of conscientious objectors as privates, with NCOs and officers backed from different corps or regiments. Its individuals satisfied different non-warrior parts in the armed force amid the First World War, the Second World War and the time of induction after the Second World War.
