If the Industrial Revolution had never happened we wouldn't have the technology we take advantage of today. Not only would there be far less pollution but we would have a lot less job possibility's we do today because all the factories would be gone.

If the Industrial Revolution had never happened, we would be much less advantaged to do basic, daily things than we are today. We would be living in a society which would be considered "backwards" or old, as there would have been no technological innovations and lack of modern technology, can sometimes lead to lack of social advancements. We would have more trouble doing the daily things that we do, things which we now think of as easy or painless. There would also be a large number of people still living in farms in rural areas, as if factories and city jobs are not prominent, many people would have stayed to work on their land.
