(4)/(10)~~if~we~~divide~~both~~of~~side~~with~~2~~(2)/(5) \\ \\ (55)/(100)~~if~~we~~divide~~both~~of~~side~~with~~5~= (11)/(20) \\ \\ (2)/(5) + (11)/(20) \\ \\ (2.4+11)/(20) =\boxed{(19)/(20)}

4/10 plus 55/100

The LCD is 100

4/10 --> 40/100 so, 40/100 plus 55/100 = 95/100 Or Just 19/20
