Mae-Ying wanted to buy packages of crackers and cheese from the vending machine. Each package cost 35 Cents. Mae-Ying had 5 quarters. 3 Dimes. and 2 Nickels. How many packages of crackers and cheese could she buy?

she could only buy 4 packets 3 dimes are the same as 30 cents plus 2 nickels which is the same as 10 cents add 30+10=40
5*25 for the quarters 5*25=125
125+40=165
now divide 165/35=4
so he can only buy 4 packets
