3/4 box = 12 oz

we first need to find 1/4 of a box. to do that divide both sides by 3

1/4 box = 4 oz

for a full box which is 4/4 multiply both sides by 4

1/4 x (4) = 4 x (4) oz

4/4 ( or one whole) = 16 oz

Answer:

16\ ounces

Explanation:

we know that

3/4 of a box of rice weighs
12 ounces

so by proportion

Find the weight of the full box of rice

(12)/((3/4))(ounces)/(box) =(x)/(1)(ounces)/(box)\\ \\x=12/(3/4)\\ \\x=16\ ounces
