A horse starts from rest and speeds up with constant acceleration. If it has gone a distance of 100 m at the point when it reaches a speed of 12 m/s, what is its acceleration?

initial speed = 0m/s=u
final speed= 12m/s=v
distance travel= 100 m=s
constant acceleration= a m/s*s

by using formula v*v=u*u+2as
12*12=0+2*a*100
a= 0.72 m/s*s
