7+4(x+5), expand the brackets by multiplying 4 & x 4 & 5
7+4x+20, add 7 & 20 together

pemdas
first distribute
distributive property
a(b+c)=(ab)+(ac)
ac=a times c

so 4(x+5)=(4*x)+(4*5)=4x+20
7+4x+20=4x+27
