Why is an angioplasty an incorrect treatment for an aneurysm?

An angioplasty may rupture the blood vessel wall.

Angioplasty is the technique of mechanically widening narrowed or obstructed arteries. This is the process of putting a balloon in your arteries to widen it for blood flow. So Angioplasty would not be the best way to treat an aneurysm because an aneurysm is a bubble full of blood. Angioplasty would not work.
