The answer is ARCHEOLOGIST because they go to different historical sites and dig up information from there. They even study the scriptures, tools and the lifestyle of the people living there.

If a historian wanted to determine whether iron tools can be found in the ruins of an ancient African city, he should consult and archeologist.

Archaeologists study human prehistory and history, from the development of the first stone tools at Lomekwi in East Africa 3.3 million years ago up until recent decades. Archaeology, or archeology is the study of human activity through the recovery and analysis of material culture. The archaeological record includes artifacts, architecture, biofacts or ecofacts and cultural landscapes.
