Why do leaves appear green?

Leaves appear green because the the leaves absorb every color except green because the green is reflected to our eyes. That's why we see them green, but they are green themselves because they contain Chlorophyll which means their Chloroplast are green

because the chloroplast reflects the green light but absorbs all the other light, causing you to see green
