Right side of the quadrilateral's slope:
(-1 - (-5))/(4 - 2) = 2
Left side of the quadrilateral's slope:
(2 - (-2))/(-3 - (-5)) = 2
These have the same slope, so they are equal.
Top side of the quadrilateral's slope:
(-1 - 2)/(4 - (-3)) = -3/7
Bottom side of the quadrilateral's slope:
(-2 - (-5))/(-5 - 2) = -3/7
These also have the same slope so they are also equal.
Because the left and right sides are equal and the top and bottom sides are equal, we can say that the quadrilateral is a parallelogram.
