If f (x) = -x + 3

Then f (-3) = -(-3) + 3

f (-3) = 3 + 3

f (-3) = 6

Hope this helps!

F of x=6 f(x)=-(-3)+3 negative times a negative equals a positive. so the negative cancels out so 3+3=6
