To simplify things we put everything into 1 line ok. So we cross multiply.
3(k+4) = 2(k+9)
3k + 12 = 2k + 18
bring k to the left and numbers to the right.
k = 6

What is the solution k+4 divided by 2 =k+9 divided by 3
