Molarity is the ratio number of moles of solute to the volume of solution measured in Liters i.e moles/L


Molarity(M) = (Moles(solute))/(Volume(solution))----(1)

Here moles of solute is the mass of the solute divided by its molecular weight.


moles = (mass)/(mol.wt)
