Life appearing in the form of bacteria about 3.5 billion years ago should be right.

The first form of life that appeared on Earth, the new organism called cyanobacteria, used carbon dioxide and water to produce oxygen as a waste product. The oxygen accumulated in the atmosphere, and some of them were converted by the sun into ozone.
