Answer: worries about how her actions affect Tracy.

In "Initiation," we meet Millicent, a high school girl who has been hoping to join a sorority in order to make friends and become more popular. Millicent experiences a character vs. self conflict when she thinks about how her joining a sorority would affect her friend Tracy. Tracy has always accepted her for who she is, and is her best friend. Therefore, Millicent is torn between her desire to join the sorority and her sense of loyalty and care towards her friend.
