Solve x for the first equation and then solve the second equation.

7=6x-11 ---> add 11 to each side
7+11=6x-11+11
18=6x ---> divide by 6
3=x

-2x-3y=-7
---> substitute 3 for x
-2(3)-3y=-7
---> multiply -2 and 3
-6-3y=-7
---> add 6 to each side
-6-3y+6=-7+6
-3y=-1 ---> divide by -3
y=

(1)/(3)
