What is meant by a reputable site ?

The site is either well known, or has no spelling and grammar errors. E.g.
www.nhs.uk is a reputable site.

We can say that a site is reputable when it is held in good repute, honorable, respectable, and estimable. When a site is reputable, you can say that everything that is found in it is valid and can be trusted. Certain sites that are considered reputable would be those ending in .edu, or .gov.
